Hi Melissa,

here is the frequency table in Turkey.

I also send you the old emails, discussions with Turkish telecommunication authority. I'm waiting for the answer about custom habbits from Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade.

When we have operated with our Turkish  dealer, there have almoust every time been difficulties with customs and I want to clarify with foreign trade that there shall not be difficulties when someone else imports the modems.

I'll let you know as soon as I get any news.

Dear Marita Latovehmas,
 
Any agency don not have to accredite and get the import license. According to Article 8/b of  TTTE  Regulation BTK approves only Class 2 Form for equipments which are restrictions of license and frequency.
 
However I do not know which procedure is implemented by Undersecretary of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade.

Does the new agency have to be accredited by us (SATEL Oy, Finland) or can for example our customers local agency get the import license and bring the modems to Turkey?

I still need some clarification: the main question was about our local agency. Is it possible to have more agencies or only one?  For now we have had only one agency's "monopoly", can we have for example 2-3 agencies/distributors in Turkey?

As an answer of your letter regarding notification form for a radio modems for telecommunication, wireless data transmission, I would like to inform you about the new notification process in Turkey.

The notification process to Turkey was changed in May 2006.
According to Communiqu鬠2009/8 BTK has approved Class 2 form. You would like to have local agency in Turkey. Your local agency has to apply for approving class 2 form. BTK does not take any money to approve class 2 form.
